The Lawns Care Home, as a part of Heritage Manor, accommodates 56 residents and It's located in peaceful Stoneygate, just outside the village of Oadby, in Leicestershire.
In conjunction with a major refurbishment and 20 extension, Fixfire® completed a full upgrade of the existing Life Safety Systems including:
Fire Alarm System. Replacement of existing conventional Fire Alarm System with 'open protocol' analogue addressable version including multi-loop ADVPLUS range control and indicating equipment. The installation involved new wiring throughout and was completed progressively maintaining full protection during each phase. The system complies with BS5839 Part 1 2017 and is designed based on 'assisted-evacuation'.
Supply and installation of electromagnetic free-swing door closers to all bedroom and dayroom doors and door hold-back devices to thoroughfare communal corridor doors.
Installation of CareAlert600 Nurse Call System throughout the home including CareBell™ and CareDoor™ monitored access control systems including CareComm™ intercom system to the main entrance and CareEntri™ to internal doors eg to stairs and CareXit™ with CareLock™ locking devices to perimeter exit doors and CareGard™ access control to secure the gate to the external seclusion garden.
The experienced projects team are used to working in operational healthcare environments ensuring minimum disruption and minimum down-time during system upgrades and replacement.
