Myton Hospice is a 3500m² purpose built specialist facility as both day-care and residential hospice for those with a life-limiting illness.
Fixfire® provided the Nurse Call System and Fire Fighting Equipment installation when this purpose built Hospice was constructed.
The CareAlert600 Nurse Call System is installed with Infra-Red receivers to permit remote activation of system via pendants. System configured for silent operation with Display Units throughout scheme and 'follow-me' over door lights to direct staff to calling location.
The building was protected with a closed-protocol Fire Alarm system which Fixfire® has upgraded to a multi-loop 'open protocol' analogue addressable version including ADV control and indicating equipment.
The experienced projects team are used to working in operational healthcare environments ensuring minimum disruption and minimum down-time during system upgrades and replacement.
