Built as part of the DfE’s Priority School Building Programme this new purpose built school brings together two existing schools into a single co-located facility.
- Ernesford Grange Community Academy – A three storey, 3FE secondary school and 6th form with a roll of 1,035 pupils.
- Riverbank Academy – A 160 place single-storey SEN secondary school, covering a broad spectrum of learning difficulties.
Project Scope
This new-build project included the turnkey supply, installation and commissioning of multiple systems including an 'open-protocol' ADV/PLUS analogue addressable Fire Alarm System, Fire Door Hold Back Retainers, Disabled Refuge Alarm System, Multi-way Disabled Toilet Alarm System, CCTV, Intruder Alarm, Networked Access Control System and Induction Loop Systems. Fixfire® Ultimex™ appliances are also installed throughout the building. (The job was completed in June 2014).
